The Special Board of Election Inspectors (SBEI) of the Philippine Embassy in Wellington, New Zealand will be conducting today, 09 April 2025 at 3 pm New Zealand Standard Time (NZST), the Final Lockdown and Sealing (FLS) of the Overseas Voting and Counting System (OVCS) to be used for overseas voting by registered Filipino overseas voters based in New Zealand, Cook Islands, Fiji, French Polynesia, Samoa and Tonga, in compliance with Article X of COMELEC Resolution No. 11061.

The Embassy will be conducting a live stream of the FLS which will be accessible on the Embassy’s Official Facebook page at facebook.com/PHLinNZ.

The OVCS is the web-based software created by COMELEC, that will be used to tally, consolidate and transmit the votes cast by enrolled Filipino Overseas Voters for the 2025 Philippine National Elections. Electronically locking down and sealing the OVCS will ensure that it will contain no votes until the Official Start of Actual Online Voting on 13 April 2025.
