Ambassador Kira Christianne D. Azucena signed the turn-over agreement with Thai Ambassador Waravuth Pouapinya with the support of the diplomatic missions of Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam to lead the ASEAN Committee in Wellington (ACW) in the first two quarters of 2025.

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the ASEAN-NZ dialogue relations and the ACW will launch commemorative activities to highlight this milestone.
