Philippine Ambassador calls on New Zealand's Minister of Foreign Affairs

Ambassador Jesus S. Domingo called on the Honourable Murray McCully, Minister of Foreign Affairs of New Zealand at his office in Parliament on 09 August 2016. Also present during the call were Mr. Stephen Harris, Divisional Manager of the South and South East Asia Division and Mr. Lawry Perrott, Policy Officer, South and South East Division of New Zealand’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT), Minister and Consul General Arlene Gonzales-Macaisa of the Embassy, and Ms. Corina Lyons, Foreign Policy Adviser of Minister of Foreign Affairs Murry McCully.

Foreign Minister McCully warmly welcomed Ambassador Domingo and said that he looks forward to deeper Philippine Embassy-MFAT collaboration for the enhancement of bilateral relations between the Philippines and New Zealand. The discussion between Ambassador Domingo and Foreign Minister McCully focused on the two countries’ priority foreign policy concerns and other relevant issues. Ambassador Domingo expressed appreciation for the facilitation provided by the New Zealand government as well as his commitment for the further development of diplomatic relations between the Philippines and New Zealand.
